Tuesday, February 14, 2012 Training again this week was delayed due to a run.  Just after 1900hrs, the box was dropped for the address of Worchester Ave in Lawnton.  The Truck (Chief Parsons) w/ 6 was on the street right after dispatch.  Communications was advising a 911 hang-up and on call back reporting a fire in a two story multi-residential living complex.  Chief 44-1 arrived to find light smoke coming from the complex and requested the first alarm assignment.  Shortly after crews reported food on the stove and scaled back the incident.  The truck provided ventilation and remained for about 20 minutes before going in service.
